How it works?
You want a map design for your island, but you don't know how it works? No worries! It pretty simple. Here is how it works, step by step.
Step 1
First, you need to choose a creator, to contact him and to make an offer. You can do this on Nookazon, or directly on Discord, Twitter or Instagram (depending on the contacts offered by the creator). Before contacting him, check his profile to see if commissions are open or not. If the offer is accepted, it's ok! You can take the step 2.
Step 2
After requesting a map design, you need to send him a photo of your actual map and your first map, to know the pattern of your island. You also need to indicate the style you want for your island and if you have specific requests. You can send photos of what you want. Step 3
When you sent all your requests for the map design, the creator can start designing the map on the Happy Island Designer website. The deadline may vary depending on the creator, the work he has and the previous commissions he has to finish. When the creator finished it, he send it and he make an other version with captions.
Step 4
The next step is decoration and ideas. After designing the map, the creator send acnh pins from Pinterest or other social networks to illustrate the map and ideas he founded for the island. The idea is to give you all the keys to make your island wonderful!
Step 5
The final step is paying. For this, you come to the creator island with the offer you made for the map design. This step can be done before starting the project, to be fixed with the creator.
And that all ! After that, if you need any further helps or advices, you can contact the creator if he's ok. It's also possible to add an additional step which consist to visit the island when it's finish (if you and the creators agree with) ; it's just so amazing to see the island map you made become a real island on Animal Crossing !
